The cycle of summer cinema organized every year by the Municipal Archaeological Museum 'Enrique Escudero de Castro', under the title ¿Cazatesoros or archaeologists ?, will screen this Thursday, July 25, the film of 'The mines of King Solomon' (1950).
It will be at 9:45 p.m., in the Museum gardens, with free admission until capacity is reached.
Starring Deborah Kerr and Stewart Granger, 'King Solomon's Mines' tells the story of Elizabeth Curtis, whose husband has disappeared somewhere in Africa while trying to find King Solomon's diamond mines.
To find him, Elizabeth hires adventurer and explorer Alan Quartermaine and offers him a reward of 5,000 pounds.
The film (102 ') was awarded two Oscars and a Golden Globe.
