The Management Team of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) loses weight.
The reform of the statutes that the university Senate has approved today reduces to seven the maximum number of vice-rectorships, one less than those currently existing.
The new fundamental norm of the UPCT establishes a less restrictive criterion for the election of the Student Advocate, for which a simple majority in the Senate will suffice.
The position is vacant at this time.
Other changes introduced in the reform of bylaws, whose renewal process began in April, have been the increase to 12% of the weight of the Administration and Services Personnel (PAS) in the election of the rector and the attribution of competence to the Social Council to contract the annual accounts audit.
