Bomberos de Cartagenera performed two services this Saturday, July 20.

The first of these, the extinction of a fire on the façade of the Amavir nursing home, located next to the Maristas school, in Cartagena.

At 11:30 am, they moved to put out the fire, which was not yet very large and easy to extinguish and removed part of the façade's cladding.

The second action of the Firemen was around 14:13 hours after the fire of a thicket in the national E-22 in Canteras, at the Portús junction.

The brush fire was very close to some houses, but finally no one was injured or important assets were affected.

In total, it burned about 1 hectare of scrub.
