Between the 12th and the 21st of July, El Palmero, in the deputation of La Magdalena, celebrates its festivities one more year with a program full of activities designed for the public of all ages.
This year, it celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary.
The popular festivities, which started on Friday July 12 with the proclamation of Pedro Ginés Conesa Adán 'El Zagalico', are organized by the Neighborhood Association of El Palmero, in collaboration with the Town Council of Cartagena Celebrations and the Neighborhood Board of Molinos Marfagones.
These are coming to an end and numerous activities have been scheduled to put the final touch to ten days of festivities such as musical performances, the Night of Migas, the Water Festival, the Great Moraga of Sardines or the traditional meal of conviviality.
This Friday, July 19, at 10 pm, the musical group 'Duetto' will liven up the night, where the Festival Committee will distribute milk frothing between the neighbors and attendees.
On Saturday, July 20, it is the Night of Migas and, as tradition, numerous plates of crumbs will be distributed, accompanied by the voice and music of the 'Grupo Azabache'.
Sunday July 21 will culminate the festive period with the Great Moraga of Sardines, the traditional meal of conviviality and the Water Festival with the installation of inflatables for the little ones.
The grand finale and the mobile phone will put an end to these festivities, which celebrate their silver anniversary.
