ADIF continues taking steps to improve Cartagena's railway infrastructures.

In this sense, the mayor Ana Belén Castejón, has pointed out that "in expropriations declared urgent, as is the case, the land is first occupied with the lifting of the Previous Acts and compensation is paid for the damages arising from the urgent expropriation to those affected.

Subsequently, the processing of the file continues to set the fair price.

With this procedure we gain agility in the process, which allows us to be optimistic in meeting the deadlines set for the improvement of the railway connection in Cartagena ".

The act of drawing up the minutes was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Public Works, as an expropriatory body, ADIF as beneficiaries of the expropriation, urban planning technicians and the Councilor for Infrastructure of the City of Cartagena, María Casajús.

In this act has proceeded to the occupation of 4 farms that will allow the execution of the works, without prejudice to continue processing the separate piece of justice to determine the amount to be paid for the expropriation.

Also in the act today, the temporary occupation of a farm has been formalized to facilitate the execution of the works and when they finish they will be reintegrated to their owners.
