On July 10 and 11, Zaragoza Activa hosts the first Campus of the Network of Local Development Entities, REDEL, an event in which the Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena participates about 70 professionals and policy makers of local development of 27 cities and regions of Spain.
The Campus is focused on three themes for which REDEL is betting through the work groups it has set up: commerce, social economy and cultural and creative industries.
Precisely one of the fundamental objectives is to mark a roadmap for the three groups aimed at achieving results in the short and medium term.
On the other hand, the campus wants to be a space of inspiration and learning, for which during both days experiences from different cities will be presented (Barcelona, ​​Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, Valencia, Bilbao, Getafe, Murcia) and projects of interest will be visited. .
On the 10th, two parallel sessions on trade and social economy were held.
The trade working group started in 2017. To date, there have been shared experiences of interest that are being carried out by partner organizations and four lines of work have been defined on which it will deepen during the session:
- Information systems and trade monitoring.
- Interventions on the urban space.
- Generation of social capital and capabilities.
- Commercial dynamisation actions.
The social economy group was launched at the end of 2018 due to the important commitment that was taking place in many of the cities belonging to the network.
In addition to sharing the projects that are being carried out, possible lines of work have been identified for the group, including:
- Tools to measure the impact of initiatives linked to the SSE.
- Promotion of the culture of values ​​linked to the SSE.
- Responsible public contracting.
- Recovery of empty spaces for ESS initiatives.
- Relationship of the ESS with the Circular Economy
The group of cultural and creative industries was launched in 2015, which allowed sharing the experience of the participating cities and has been the subject of analysis and debate in several of the meetings held in recent years.
In the session that will take place tomorrow, day 11, we want to take a step that allows to advance in the definition of:
- Competitive improvement of the sector: professionalization, training, incorporation of ICT in the
creative process.
- Collaboration formulas between companies in the sector to access public procurement.
- Partnership and partnership formulas to find alliances with microprojects.
