On the occasion of San Cristóbal Day this past Wednesday, July 10, El Bohío celebrated the great day of its patron saint festivities in honor of this Saint with activities throughout the day.
The celebrations in honor of the patron began at 11.30 in the morning with the wreath held in the church, focusing from the afternoon on the smallest with the opening of fairground attractions.
It was at 8pm when the traditional Holy Mass was celebrated in honor of San Cristóbal with the subsequent blessing of vehicles, mostly taxis, and procession of the image of the Saint through the streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by the band.
Acts that counted on the presence of the deputy mayor, Noelia Arroyo, accompanied by the second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, as well as the councilors of the municipal corporation, José López and María José Soler.
The finale of the day was put by the Dolce Vita orchestra with live music in the square, where the rest of the activities will be held until the end of the festivities on Sunday.
