The Councilor for the Area of ​​Education, Employment and Business and president of the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) of the City of Cartagena, Irene Ruiz, today presented the diplomas to the twelve students who have participated in the mobility program ERASMUS + the one that has obtained a certificate of professionalism and to realize practices in companies of European countries.
The twelve returned on June 29, after completing two months of work experience in Portugal and Italy.
According to Irene Ruiz, the ERASMUS + program, managed by the ADLE, is aimed at recently graduated students who have obtained a certificate of professionalism, facilitating the internship in the European Union and the degree obtained during the training.
In this case, they were recently graduates of the hospitality sector, social care, leisure and free time, plumbing and electricity facilities, and administration.
Four of the fellows have done their internships in Lisbon, and the other eight in Florence.
The grant has covered the travel scholarship, accommodation for two months, language preparation course both in destination and host, search for companies and tutoring practices and pocket money.
The ADLE has been managing European mobility since 2004, first with the Leonardo da Vinci program and, for a few years now, with the ERASMUS + program, which consolidates training and employment mobility programs at a European level.
In all this time, the employment agency has managed the mobility of more than 300 unemployed people who have been able to have professional internships somewhere in the EU such as Prague, Krakow, Lisbon, Braga, Florence, Milan, Ireland, Berlin and Potenza.
