At the end of the meeting, the still director of the AGA, Colonel Miguel Iborra Ruiz, was grateful to Cartagena, "a city with which we maintain close ties of friendship and collaboration in which our cadets come to visit both the mayor's office and the city, as well as industries and other military units that are located "in Cartagena.
He also wished to wish luck to his successor, Colonel Manuel de la Chica Camuñez.
The relay in the direction of the General Air Academy will be held on Thursday July 11 in the Plaza de Armas of the school headquarters in San Javier during the delivery ceremony of the Royal Dispatches.
It will be chaired by King Felipe VI.
The next director of the AGA, Colonel Manuel de la Chica Camuñez, joined the Air Force in 1984. He knows well the school based in San Javier, since he studied as an officer and pilot at the Academy.
