The new headquarters of Maestros Mundi opened its doors on the afternoon of this past Monday, July 1, to welcome dozens of families, volunteers and friends of the association who did not want to miss the closing ceremony of the 2018-2019 academic year.
The celebration took place in the garden of the new location on Calle Trafalgar, where attendees could enjoy a gala full of emotions that gave the kick-off to this new meeting point for the families of Cartagena.
Among the attendees, was attended by several technicians from the Department of Social Services who recognized the efforts of Maestros Mundi to bring education, knowledge and culture to minors and families in vulnerable situations.
María Victoria Vara, president of Maestros Mundi, also praised the great work of the volunteers of the association and assured that this was only the beginning of a very promising project for Cartagena.
During the ceremony, the three Mundi Masters projects were presented in coordination with the Department of Social Services in this course.
In the first place, the Coaching Project, 4th year of the project, which is aimed at providing personalized school and emotional support to minors at risk of social exclusion and educational counseling to their families.
This year's novelties include the Talentum project, focused on preventing school failure through a group accompaniment that has the New Technologies and Multiple Intelligences as the main drivers and the Heroes Without a Layer project, aimed at young people between 14 and 18 years old. which aims to encourage volunteering as a means of social participation.
For the coming year the Association plans to start a Family Leisure Club, which aims to make the new headquarters of Mundi Teachers a new meeting point and coexistence to contribute to the integral development of families and children through non-formal education and healthy leisure.
