Next July, the summer activities of the Alternative Free Time program, T-La, belong to the Youth Council, which will develop a total of ninety activities until September for young people between 14 and 35 years old.
It was this Friday, June 28, when the presentation of the program took place by the hand of the councilor of the area of ​​Youth, David Martinez, along with the head of the T-La, José María Lloret.
Between the activities they emphasize the trips and escapes: first of them will be of the 7 to the 12 of July with the trip to Asturias, followed by Formentera, City of the Sciences and a cultural escape to the city of Cordova where the participants will know, between others things, the Medina Azahara archaeological site, declared a Historical Patrimony of Humanity in 2018.
In the section of training courses and workshops include the initiation to drums, capoeira, impro-musical theater, alchemy, the scenic truth, as well as photography and scenery of worgueims.
For its part, the Youth Center of Quarries will have a special role in the Nights of Astronomy, where theoretical-practical talks about the planet Mercury, Mars, Perseids and Venus will be given.
As usual in summer programs, it is expected that nautical activities are among the most demanded.
For this occasion the program keeps those related to canoeing, rowing, water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking in Bolnuevo and diving baptisms in Mazarrón.
On Saturday, July 27, the Aqualandia Aquatic Park of Benidorm will also be visited.
Also included in the program is the third edition of the Cabo de Pop music and culture festival, scheduled for August 16 and 17 in Cabo de Palos, which will have a wide range of activities for all audiences as well as different concerts.
After the great reception in the previous quarters of the dramatized routes, this summer the TLA incorporates six new exits where the participants will know the histories, the legends and the culture of Cartagena of the hand of the association Gaia Cultural.
From July 15 to 26, the Youth Volunteer Field "Go down to the arena and play history" will be held, where twenty-five young people from different locations in Spain will meet in our city to carry out, among other activities, cataloging work and inventoried of materials of the Roman amphitheater of Cartagena.

T-The Spring
The spring past T-LA developed a total of 100 activities, in which 3,186 young people participated.
The most successful activities of participation were astronomy nights, dramatized routes, board games, hiking, Nerpio-Cartagena Bike route and nautical activities in the Mar Menor.
