The Youth Council of the City of Cartagena and the Informajoven Service have convened this Friday, June 28, the youth correspondents to carry out the evaluation and deliver the closing diplomas of the 2018-2019 Course.
This act has counted with the presence of the Councilor for Youth of the City of Cartagena, David Martínez.
The correspondents are students of Institutes and University, scholarships by the Department of Youth, whose work is to keep their peers informed of the activities, services and resources, which are within their reach.
These students are in charge of disseminating among their peers the activities provided by the Informajoven, they organize and keep up-to-date information panels located in their centers, and they attend to their colleagues' queries during breaks.
This final meeting is important to evaluate the results obtained and improve a program, in which the young people themselves are the ones who provide useful information to their colleagues and make the resources profitable, which the administration makes available to the youth population.
During this course, the team of correspondents was formed by 31 students, who have exercised the functions of correspondent in their respective educational centers.
Interested students can contact the Informajoven to find out about the requirements and the necessary documentation to be able to apply for the call.
The students will be selected during the month of October and throughout the course they will receive the necessary training and support to carry out their tasks, as well as a scholarship of 300 euros to pay at the end of the School Year.
In total, 19 scholarships are offered to cover the 16 Institutes of Secondary Education and Vocational Training, as well as, the three University Campuses of the UPCT.
