The Municipal Auditorium El Batel hosted this Saturday, June 22, the Margarita Amante Dance School Gala, whose benefits have gone to the association ASTEAMUR, which works to give social visibility to those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The school held in the same event two galas: one infantile and another juvenile and adult.
The events were attended by the councilor of the Culture, Youth and Equality area, David Martínez, and the delegated councilor for Culture, Carlos Piñana.
Children from 5 to 13 years old participated in the children's program.
In the hour and a half of the show, the students gave an exhibition of different styles of dance from classical, to contemporary dance, flamenco and urban dance.
At the second gala, students over 14 years old performed.
It was also possible to see classical ballet, flamenco, contemporary dance, urban dance and Latin dance, in its different levels.
This second gala consists of two parts with a break of 15 minutes.
In the two galas, the students put on stage original choreographies, created expressly with the level appropriate to the age of the students.
All of them put all their art and delivery to make the public enjoy and thus be able to raise funds for the association Asteamur, which needs to fix the facilities of the school that has been granted by the City of Cartagena.
