The Municipal School of Sports Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aesthetic Gymnastics of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, closed on Tuesday June 18, at the Sports Palace, the 2018-19 season.
More than 900 base gymnasts, accompanied by 22 coaches, performed original gymnastic choreography, which has been the delight of more than 3000 family and friends, who took the stands of the Sports Palace and cheered with applause and a multitude of photos.
This veteran school remains firm in its goal of serving as a model for education and training through gymnastics, in its modalities of rhythmic gymnastics and aesthetic gymnastics, to children and young people in our city.
With 32 schools spread across the municipality, we also work on the selection of talents for the competition teams of the clubs that make up the Cartagena Gymnastics Project.
To round off this multitudinous exhibition, the teams of the Rhythmic Club Cartagena, who represented Spain in the XX World Championship of Group Aesthetic Gymnastics, the Senior mixed gold medal and the Junior female bronze medal by countries, delighted the public delivered with gymnastics
After two hours of music and rhythm, there was a flashmob, in which all the girls from the school, coaches and part of the audience participated.
The act has ended with gratitude for the educational work carried out by the 31 technicians specialized in this sport, who every day put their professionalism and love so that these schools are of high quality and so that more children and young people practice physical exercise as a habit of healthy life.
In addition, they have wanted to continue this work after the holidays, in the next course.
