Four crimes of burglary in homes, two of usurpation of houses and one of scam have been clarified
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify a series of criminal acts related to the usurpation of housing in the hamlet of Cartagena Albujón, which has been settled, so far, with the location and arrest of the leader of a criminal group.
After the first phase of the investigation, which is framed in the 'Plan against theft in homes', the Civil Guard has clarified seven criminal acts: four of robbery with force, one of fraud and two of usurpation of housing
The proceedings began last April, when the Civil Guard began an investigation aimed at clarifying several crimes of theft committed in homes in El Albujón-Cartagena.
The first investigations carried out allowed to verify that the facts investigated were committed using force against the doors of the buildings to access its interior and to remove all kinds of valuables.
During the investigation, the civil guards detected that, in addition to the robberies, the perpetrators also occupied unoccupied dwellings and then offered them to third parties in exchange for financial compensation.
The development of the investigation oriented the agents towards a group of people, with a history of similar crimes, which resided temporarily in a usurped house.
Once obtained all the necessary evidence, the Benemérita established a search device on the suspects, so far, has allowed to locate and arrest the leader of the plot, as alleged perpetrator of robbery with force in housing, housing usurpation and scam.
The investigation continues open with the purpose of locating the rest of the members of the criminal group, as well as determining if they are involved in more criminal acts.
The arrested, along with the proceedings, has been made available to the Court of Instruction of Cartagena (Murcia), which has decreed his entry into prison.
