Coinciding with the publication of the notes of the Baccalaureate Assessment for Access to the University (EBAU), the Polytechnic of Cartagena will disseminate their scientific-technical careers and the potential of their graduates with the event 'The UPCT gives the note' , which will be held this Wednesday and Thursday in the Avenida Libertad de Murcia.
From 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the UPCT sponsors the broadcast in the street of the regional programming of the radio stations with the largest audience.
At the same time, attendees can learn about the academic offer of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and participate in workshops and technological exhibitions of virtual reality, robotics, 3D printing and agri-food engineering.
In the technological exhibition, visitors will be able to see how the additive manufacturing of pieces is done, how virtual reality glasses work or the different robots that can be created with Arduino.
During the afternoon of Wednesday there will also be workshops for minors in which they will print their own designs in three dimensions and manufacture a space vehicle with Lego robotic pieces.
Between the protagonists of the radio broadcasts of the Cadena SER, on Wednesday, and the COPE, on Thursday, there will be alumni of the UPCT who have created their own innovative companies, Drónica y Reverdecer, of drones and vegetable covers respectively, and responsible for the UPCT that will explain the opportunities to study abroad, access scholarships, research projects and internships in companies facilitated by the Polytechnic of Cartagena.
