This coming Wednesday, June 19, the program Cartagena Piensa of the Department of Culture has as guest psychologist Mª Ángeles Miñarro Garrido who will discuss the 'Perspective of gender in everyday life' at 20:00 in the El Soldadito Cafeteria. Lead, within the programming of the Cafés with Science and Thought, in this case in collaboration with the Official College of Psychologists of the Region of Murcia.
About the presentation
Gender equality is one of the UN Millennium Development Goals.
From the different professional spheres (health, education, legal, political, social ...) it is possible to identify, with the tool that means to look with a gender perspective, the sexist mandates and stereotypes that limit the development of people and cause toxic relationships , social inequalities and loss of healthy life.
The Gender Perspective helps us to transform our culturally inherited beliefs, behaviors and behaviors into our daily lives, which are currently not adaptive to the complex society of the 21st century.
About the speaker
M.ª Ángeles Miñarro Garrido is a member of the Gender and Equality Group of the Psychologists Association of the Region of Murcia, a psychologist at the Office of Crime Victims of the Court of Cartagena.
It will be presented by Maribel Soto, Manager of the Office of Assistance to Victims of Crimes.
