The Local Government Board of the City of Cartagena held Tuesday its last two sessions of this term.

First, an extraordinary one, in which, among other matters, a budgetary modification has been approved that will allow the elaboration of the project of rehabilitation of the Roman Amphitheater with a charge of 1.5 percent Cultural of the Ministry of Development, and then another extraordinary approval of the last minutes and closure of the legislative mandate, as established by current legislation.

Specifically, the Governing Board has authorized a game of 17,750 euros, which will immediately proceed to contract the development of the project of rehabilitation of the archaeological site in its second phase, so that the document is ready and presented in the Ministry of Development in the month of September to start its execution for an amount of 400 thousand euros.

which would allow the intervention of the southern quadrant, included between the current work and the Autopsy Pavilion, as well as the consolidation of the double ring wall of the Plaza de Toros.

The Board has also approved a direct grant of 9,000 euros to the Association of Neighbors of Molino Derribado for the organization of the National Festival of Spanish Song;

and another 35,000 euros to the Ciudad de Cartagena Folkloric Group for the celebration of the Folklore Festival of the Region of Cartagena.

Finally, several compensation scholarships have been approved for a total amount of 6,465 euros, which manages the Youth space of the Youth Council.

The last session of the Governing Board of this legislature was number 21 of the year 2019.
