The classroom Theater Workshop of the Desván closes its 2018-19 course this coming Friday 14th with the theatrical production 'Chespier in clown' in which they will represent scenes of the most representative works of the English author William Shakespeare as "Macbeth", "Hamlet", "Othello", "The Taming of the Shrew" or "Everyone is a stage".
Before the beginning of the work, a video summary of all the events carried out during the course will be screened, highlighting the performances carried out in Residential Centers for the elderly at Christmas, Peace Day and on anniversaries, with live songs of the time, clown performances and participation with elders.
To finalize the act, the diplomas will be awarded along with the special prize "Pata de Gallo" 2019 to José Rodríguez Gómez, sound and lighting technician of the Caja Mediterráneo Foundation, who has closed, with his retirement, a curtain loaded with great memories of the most innovative in culture of our city in the 80s. It is worth noting, at that time and under the direction of Juan José Muńoz, in the old Savings Bank of Alicante and Murcia, the bets of Baltasar Sánchez Grau, Enrique Escudero de Castro , theater directors of their respective groups and Manuel Navarro with his "Paper Theater".
The performance will begin at 8:00 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Caja Mediterráneo Foundation of the main street of Cartagena.
