On Tuesday June 11, the acting councilor of the area of ​​Economic Strategy, Health and Animal Welfare of the City of Cartagena, Carmen Martín del Amor, will attend the presentation of the project 'Discover a town QR', made by students of 3rd of ESO at the Leonardo Da Vinci Center in Los Belones.
Through this project, being a tourist place, you want to show the information of interest, in a simple, comfortable and innovative way, creating information points through QR codes.
In addition, another objective is to help retailers improve their image through this innovative idea, bringing them closer to the technological world to increase their attractiveness to customers, and thus help them increase their profits.
For this, on the one hand, two lecterns will be installed: one, in the Calle Mayor, and another, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
On the other, they have generated QR codes for 53 shops belonging to ACOBE, putting the information in a methacrylate that will be placed on the facade of each of these shops.
The presentation of this project will take place at the educational center of Los Belones, at 10:30 am.
