The Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena has directed about 5,000 students from 17 educational centers on their future work.
They have also explained, during the 200 sessions held from October 2018 to June 2019, the possibilities offered by the education system.
The Decide Program has been carried out by the Labor Intermediation Area.
The participating centers in this edition were: IES Ben Arabi, IES Los Molinos, IES San Isidoro, IES Juan Sebastian Elcano, IES Las Salinas del Mar Menor, IES Galileo, IES Polytechnic, IES Mediterranean, IES Isaac Peral, Colegio Hispania, Colegio La Encarnación, CEIP Hospitality and Tourism, La Vaguada School, Narval School ,,, La Sagrada Familia School, Santa María Micaela School and Miralmonte School.
The sessions that are taught within the DECIDE program serve so that the young person can make the appropriate decisions to their professional and vocational interests, thus facilitating the election in their academic and work career.
In the orientation talks, the students have received information about techniques and study habits, motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, orientation towards the end of Compulsory Secondary Education and the Bachelor and about job search and labor market situation.
In addition, the Program has served groups such as Alraso, Asilo San Pedro Store Foundation, FAMDIF, ACCEM, CEPAIM, Red Spider, University of Murcia, Barrios ADLE, Project COLOC and training courses of the SEF.
About 300 students of different training actions, managed by different agencies of Cartagena, have received guidance or visited the ADLE to learn about municipal resources on employment issues provided by the City of Cartagena free of charge to all citizens of the municipality.
