The acting president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, today inaugurated the new shared work space in the European Business and Innovation Center of Cartagena (Ceeic), which makes the Autonomous Community available to entrepreneurs "to promote their projects and facilitate that they take the first steps to turn a business idea into a business reality, "he said.

The new facilities, which are located in the Ceeic building of the Cabezo Beaza Industrial Estate, have 12 individual work posts distributed in one hundred square meters adapted for coworking and collaborative work among the participants.

"In addition to the physical space, users can benefit from the other services offered by the technology incubator such as technical advice and access to specialized training of Ceeic technicians in the first steps of their business initiative," explained the Chief Executive regional.

"In the last three years, the number of innovative technology-based companies located in the Ceeic has increased by 50 percent, giving rise to a powerful ecosystem of technological entrepreneurship with an environment conducive to entrepreneurship, which encourages the retention of talent, the collaborative development of projects through the exploitation of synergies among graduates and the increase of visibility vis-à-vis potential industrial partners or investors, "said López Miras.
