In total, 600 athletes from different regions of Spain gathered on Sunday June 2 to contest the XIV edition of SERTRI Triathlon Ciudad de Cartagena.
In the absolute test of this competition, the victory was for the Arabi Yecla Hector Pujante García Triathlon Club rider, in the men's category.
In the women's competition, the athlete of the Saltoki Diquesi Trikideak, Nerea Berasategui Plazaola, was the winner.
The councilman of Sports in functions, Manuel Mora, gave the exit from the Plaza Heroes de Cavite.
After completing a route of 750 meters by swimming, 20 kilometers by bike and 5 kilometers on foot, the participants returned to the starting point of the route to reach the finish line.
The athletes had to swim from the Old Club de Regatas de Cartagena.
After the water route, they made the bike path to the Cala Cortina tunnel.
Finally, they made the run, which took them through the Plaza Puertas de San José and the Wall to return to Plaza Heroes de Cavite.
The youngest could also enjoy this sporting event with a duathlon, since they did not have swimming.
The tour by bike and running was made around the Plaza Heroes de Cavite.
During the sporting event, local police and firefighters were watching over the correct development of SERTRI Triathlon City of Cartagena.
