The regatta has managed to raise 4,000 euros that will go to the Association ELA-Murcia Region with the aim of improving the quality of life of those affected and their families through training, psychological support, guidance and information.
The XI Solidarity Race Carburo de Plata-Cup Spain Cruise Class ORC comes to an end after three days in which sport and solidarity have gone hand in hand.
The boat 'Saleroso 2.0', of Luis Carlos Martínez Muñoz of the Club de Regatas de Águilas, has proclaimed itself the absolute champion of the competition, receiving the Carburo de Plata Trophy.
The champions of the Spanish Cup of the categories ORC 1, ORC 2, ORC 3 and ORC 4 were 'Licor 43 El Carmen Doce' as shipowner Joaquín Coello, of the RCR Cartagena;
'Cañas II', led by Montoya / Rosas / Escudero / Ortiz del RCR Cartagena;
'Saleroso 2.0' by Luis Carlos Martínez Muñoz from Club Náutico de Águilas;
In the ORC 5 category, the winning boat was 'Albana 2' from the owner Salvador García Cánovas, from the Yacht Club of Los Nietos.
During the ceremony of the trophies, held at the Yacht Port Cartagena, the Audi Huertas Motor trophies were awarded to the 'Albana 2' boat of the Los Nietos Yacht Club;
the Yacht Port trophy for 'Pez de Abril', by José María Meseguer of the Náutico Portmán Club, and the Salacia Equality trophy for Cristina Campos, from the "BM Concisa" of the Mazarrón Yacht Club.
This year, as a novelty, the I Emilio Restoy Zamora Trophy was awarded to the "NEMOX" vessel of Brothers Montoya and Juan Pablo Ramírez of RCR Cartagena.
At the closing ceremony of the Carburo de Plata Solidarity Regatta, the President of the Portman Yacht Club, Blas Isaac, was present and awarded the prizes to the winning boats;
the councilor of the City of Cartagena, Mª del Carmen Martín del Amor;
the mayor of La Unión, Pedro López Milán;
the senior practical of the Cartagena Ports Practitioners' Corporation, Bartolomé Hernández;
the manager of Yacht Port Cartagena, Mamen Ros;
the president of the Real Club de Regatas Cartagena, José García Bravo;
the manager of Audi Huertas Motor;
and, Andrés Ayala, on behalf of Zamora Company, as well as the rest of the sponsors with whom this edition of the Carburo de Plata Solidarity Race has counted.
"You are the alma mater of this regatta," Blas Isaac expressed excited to the sailors who have been part of this competition for a cause of solidarity.

For the eleventh consecutive year, Yacht Port Cartagena again collaborates in a special way in the celebration of the regatta, giving its moorings and facilities for the installation of the 'village', where they will place different stands of the sponsors and all the events planned during the race.
