This morning, the acting councilor of MC Cartagena, José López, together with the elected councilors, Jesús Giménez and Enrique Pérez, have visited several places in the municipality to see, first hand, that the gross socialist incapacity along the two years of the mayor's office of Ana Belén Castejón will require a considerable effort from the new government team to remedy the huge amount of unfinished works and projects and, what is more serious, lacking in funding for its completion.

Unfinished works, inheritance of the PSOE

In the first place, MC representatives have moved to El Albujón where the Socialist Executive has left unfinished the expansion of the action that had as its object the reordering of traffic and pedestrian accesses in Avenida de la Constitución Española.

However, once the action was taken, the need to undertake, in addition, the channeling and improvement of rainwater was detected, for which a modification of the 2018 budget was necessary to continue works contracted in 2017. Today, the performance It is still not finished.

López, Giménez and Pérez have continued their visit proving that Castejón's inefficiency has spread throughout the municipality.

In the same situation has been the removal of fiber cement plates from the roof of the social premises of San José Obrero.

Similarly, improvements in accessibility for pedestrians have remained unfinished on the Canteras road;

while in the Historic District, in Sister Francisca Armendáriz, MC must execute the public space projected there or the integral remodeling of the Sauces Park.

For its part, in José María La Puerta, the planned urban garden must wait for the entry of the Government of Cartagena, as well as the arrangement of the roof of the Civic Center in El Algar and the refurbishment of the main public square of Perín.

This situation will force MC, once he assumes his responsibilities at the head of the City of Cartagena, to carry out the regularization of the accounts before the disastrous management of the PSOE and to correct the legacy that Castejón leaves in matters of works, which must be add the notable increase in the delay of payment to suppliers, which the socialist has raised to five months.
