This Thursday, May 30, at the Consistorial Palace of Cartagena, the awards ceremony of the 1st edition of the Photographic Contest "The Treasure in The Night of the Museums" took place.

This activity, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, has as winner Francisco José Rubio Chinchilla, for his work 'Gladiator Night'.

The second prize was for Emma Martínez Cerdá.

The prize that Francisco José Rubio Chinchilla has obtained, consists of a lunch or dinner for two people with a closed menu at the D'Almansa restaurant, during the month of June.

For its part, the winner of the second prize, Emma Martínez Cerdá, can enjoy a lunch or dinner for two people in El Rincón del Perlita, worth 30 euros.

The councilman of Tourism in functions of the City of Cartagena, David Martinez, explained that this contest wants to show "the Night of the Museums, from the point of view of citizenship, through photography."

In addition, it has encouraged citizens to sign up for all photography competitions held in the municipality of Cartagena to "promote the city and its cultural heritage."
