The Local Police of Cartagena will intensify the surveillance of the circulation of vehicles and the fulfillment of loading and unloading schedules in the center of the city for the protection of public spaces where an influx of people is expected.
To do this, it will launch a special campaign on Tuesday, May 28 and will last for two weeks, with the aim of ensuring better mobility of pedestrian traffic and protect its safety in the Historic District, where the influx of pedestrians is much greater.
The campaign will be carried out using the vehicle "MultaCar", which will photograph the vehicles that are not complying with the regulations.
The driver who circulates in the pedestrian zones without the perceptive authorization or carry out loading and unloading operations outside the pre-established hours, may be sanctioned with fines of up to € 200 provided for in the Municipal Traffic and Road Safety Ordinance.
From the Local Police of Cartagena, the organization of traffic in the center of the city is remembered, which only allows loading and unloading operations until 11am.
