From Thursday, May 30 to Sunday, June 2, Las Lomas del Albujón celebrates its Spring Festival 2019. These celebrations, organized by the residents of this Cartagena deputation, have the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
Floral offerings, meals, contests and a pyrotechnics show will fill the streets of Las Lomas del Albujón with color.
The 2019 Spring Festival of this delegation begins on Thursday, May 30, Ascension Day, with the beginning of the Triduum in honor of the patron saint, Francisco Montesinos will officiate the mass at 8:00 p.m.
On Friday, May 31, the Triode will continue with a mass at 8:00 p.m.
At 10 pm, the celebrations will be inaugurated, with the lighting on by the parish priest Juan Carlos Ponce Simón and the president of the Albujón-Miranda neighborhood board Ángel Nieto Huertas.
At 10:30 pm, the Cruces de Mayo will take place, with a dance enlivened by the Jema duo.
In the early morning chocolate with churros will be offered.
On Saturday, June 1 at 10 am there will be a playground with inflatables.
At 12:30 a vermouth will be offered to all the neighbors.
At 2:00 pm, there will be a convivial meal at the Local Social where each neighbor can provide some food.
The dessert will be the responsibility of the Festival Commission.
After lunch there will be a family raffle.
At 7:00 pm, there will be a floral offering that will go through all the streets of the town and end at the Church of Las Lomas del Albujón.
After this act, there will be a mass officiated by Manuel Jiménez Idalgo.
At this Eucharist, the assistants will be able to attend with the typical costume.
At 10 pm, there will be a dance session enlivened by the Watercolor duo.
On Sunday, June 2, the Ascension Day will be celebrated in the Spring Festival of Las Lomas del Albujón.
The day will begin at 9 o'clock with bell tolling.
At 10 o'clock, the local championship of male and female caliche will be held.
Attendees can enjoy ham and beer placed by the Commission of these Parties.
At 2:00 pm, there will be a convivial meal at the Local Social of Las Lomas del Albujón.
After lunch there will be a family raffle.
At 8:00 pm, a Mass will be celebrated, officiated by Vicar David Robles.
Then there will be a procession with a musical band through all the streets of the town.
At 9:30 p.m. there will be a fireworks display.
At 22 hours, a great variety show by the Spanish song singer Carmen Murcia and a magic show offered by the magician Juan Muchamagia.
At midnight, the final trail will dismiss the 2019 Spring Festival of Las Lomas del Albujón.
