On Monday, May 27, Juanjo Muñoz Ros will speak about 'Easy Reading', within the Thinking Disability cycle organized by the Cartagena Piensa program of the Department of Culture at 7:30 pm at the Youth Resource Center.
It will be presented by Paula Andreu López, evaluator of the Accessibility Team of SOI (Inclusive Leisure Service Foundation for people with intellectual disability and cerebral palsy of Cartagena and Shire).
Easy Reading is a method that brings written information to all readers whether it is paper, digital media, signage, etc.
It has a long history in other European countries and gains ground in Spain thanks to the movement of people with intellectual disabilities and development.
It is framed within the paradigm of universal accessibility.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Juanjo Muñoz Ros is the person in charge of Communication and Easy Reading of Plena Inclusión Region of Murcia.
He has a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, has worked for more than ten years in the movement of people with intellectual disabilities in the Region of Murcia.
He holds the Master 'Smart Cities: Accessibility for the Global City' of the University of Jaén.
It is an Adapter of texts to Easy Reading, coordinator of publications in this methodology and has given training on this matter in entities such as the City Councils of Murcia and Santomera, the University of Murcia and the Regional Assembly.
