Citizens will make the City Council a Point of Attention to Entrepreneurs (PAE) to facilitate the creation of new companies by providing information and facilitating the processing of documentation.

The proposal of the liberal party complements this public service that only the Chamber of Commerce offers in Cartagena when in other large municipalities such as Murcia there are six public PAEs.

The Point of Care for the Entrepreneur of Cartagena, which will be preceded by the corresponding agreement with the Ministry, will include the Single Electronic Document that allows free entrepreneurs to perform all the initial procedures for the start-up of a business in a single act.

The Cs candidates, Manuel Padín and María Amoraga, met today with the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs, José Manuel Antón and Rafael Sánchez de San Pedro, vice president, to share the proposals of the Cs program and listen to their latest diagnosis .

Another objective of Citizens is to create progressively, as the City Council accounts allow, a Risk Capital Fund for the most promising innovative projects that have been left out of the regional financing instruments, "among them, and especially , those linked to the circular economy and with a marked innovative component ".

For this, explains Manuel Padín, it will be necessary to hire a Risk Capital Management Company as other municipalities have done, the first being that of Gijón, "it was the first in Spain to use venture capital to promote economic development with the capitalization of projects. innovative business and has become a benchmark for public-private partnership success;

since 2010 they have managed to consolidate 60 companies, create 600 jobs and a turnover that reaches 45 million euros;

The medium-term creation of business development platforms and the reordering of incentives to stimulate projects with social reversion are other Cs proposals.

The new PAE of Cartagena will be integrated into a larger structure: the Municipal Office of the Entrepreneur of Cartagena, to centralize all the information and have a personalized guardianship, "Our City Council must offer a unique space to carry out with guarantees a business initiative, centralize the work of the municipal and regional departments, order the training offers of all the entities that act in the municipality, simplify the paperwork, the procedure for a work license, an environmental license, or for the presentation of the responsible declaration or the reception of the previous communication linked to the activity with the minimum cost for the interested parties and in only a few hours ", explains Manuel Padín.

"It is not just about facilitating the procedures to register companies and freelancers, but about an effective integral service to see realities, consolidated business ideas generating employment and wealth."

Business leakage

The goal of the liberal party is to make Cartagena a reference for anyone who wants to undertake, "currently, the opposite occurs, companies prefer to settle in Murcia, Molina de Segura, and even other neighboring communities, this happens even with those who have born here, under the advice and tools of the European Business and Innovation Center of Cartagena;

In this sense, Citizens has already prepared a tax ordinance proposal that wants to include in the tax and fiscal system from the municipal elections, "we will apply tax credits to companies that decide to install their business project in the areas that suffer the phenomenon of depopulation in Cartagena and that have socioeconomic indicators below the average ".

"PSOE and PP have always privileged with services and infrastructures very specific points of our geography and have plunged populations into misery," says Manuel Padín.
