The Autonomous Community, through the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (Info), and the Port Authority of Cartagena collaborate in the dissemination of the program 'Ports 4.0, aimed at financing innovation projects at any stage of development and encourage the creation or consolidation of companies in the logistics-port sector.

Through it, it seeks to put at the service of the Spanish port community initiatives for the development of prototypes and their practical application with economic endowments that will range between 15,000 euros for ideas and 100,000 euros for developments of innovative technologies.

In addition, a support office has been set up to manage this program and a new corporate incubator or accelerator for the port-logistics sector has been created in the Port of Cartagena, which will also have the collaboration of the Institute for Development.

This action to support entrepreneurs and companies was presented today in the conference 'Ports 4.0-Open Innovation', inaugurated by the director of the Institute of Development, Joaquín Gómez, and the general director of the Port Authority of Cartagena, Fermín Rol.
