During the last night of Tuesday, May 21, took place the traditional gala awards ceremony of 2019, belonging to the Spring Festival Pozo Estrecho that began on 17, in collaboration with the Department of City Council Celebrations from Cartagena.
The gala, which began at 9:00 pm at the Paco Saura fairgrounds, was attended by the winners of the Galileo Awards of the Year 2019, which fell to Antonia Domenech and Andrés Mesa, as well as the farmer Ángel Conesa, awarded as Golden Plow.
The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, did not want to miss this traditional event attended by the councilors of Culture, David Martinez, and Social Services, Mercedes García, as well as the president of the Neighborhood Board of Pozo Estrecho, Carolina Álvaro, and the councilors of the municipal corporation, Nicolás Ángel Bernal and Manuel Padín.
Prior to this gala, since the beginning of festivities, the Cartagena deputation has held various activities such as the XXV Pilgrimage to the Ermita de la Loma or the tasting of Galilean beer and traditional products of the land.
