The Barriada Virgen de la Caridad culminated this Sunday, May 19, the Week for Coexistence and Respect with a large Open Day of Open Doors, in the Plaza Cronista Casal.
The Week for Coexistence and Respect, which began on Monday the 13th and ended on Sunday, May 19, brought together different groups and associations in the area that programmed a series of activities, whose objective is to promote peace and tolerance among citizens.
This program has the support of the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena.
This Sunday there were collective booths and neighborhood associations, playgrounds and children's workshops, an exhibition of Seat 600 and Club Rebels motorcycles, a Zumba marathon for all ages or a sample of specialized workshops run by IES Polytechnic.
In addition, the photographs taken during the I Photo Marathon were shown and prizes were awarded for this activity.
Also on that same stage was the exhibition of the work 'Lazos entre culturas', from the Mucho Más Mayo Festival.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García and the councilor for the area of ​​Public Services, Citizen Participation and Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, attended this Open House Day Event.
