This morning, the head of the list for the City of Cartagena by VOX María José López Suanzes, accompanied by several members of her team, participated in a working breakfast with the President of the Employers' Association of the Industrial Estate of Los Camachos, Antonio Betancor and other members of its board of directors, as well as the Conservation Entity.

In this meeting the needs and problems for this important industrial focus, which has 6 million square meters for the establishment of companies and employs almost two thousand people, some of whose shortcomings suffered from the beginning of the project, have been highlighted. and to this day they are still unattended.

One of the most pressing problems is the lack of adequate access from the F-37 regional road, whose solution has been pending for more than 10 years, and which has become a black point where several people have lost their lives due to lack of of a correct design or of traffic lights in any case.

The polygon also suffers from adequate maintenance of public services such as signage, and sewerage, and it would be necessary to make the left turns for vehicles on the main avenue.

Also they show the industralists who do not see any return of the million Euros that pay annually to the City council in concept of IBI, since this only pays the lighting, being the Conservation Entity the one who becomes position of all the other expenses as they are the collection of garbage and street cleaning.

Another outstanding demand is the transfer of a meeting room, a deficiency that we have been able to personally verify, since the meeting had to take place in a bar where, due to the excess of ambient noise, communication was difficult.

Apparently, it was planned that the meeting place was located in the complex "Contempori", another of the pharaonic works left unfinished at the time the Popular Party.

From VOX Cartagena we believe that the demands of these entrepreneurs are fair and easily met if there is a will on the part of the City Council, and that facilitating the operation of the companies ultimately leads to the creation of jobs that our community so badly needs.
