A meeting has been held with the neighborhood association of Lo Campano and representative of the evangelist church and VOX representatives to learn first-hand about the main reactivation activities of the neighborhoods and the special neighborhood of Lo Campano.
VOX supports and encourages these associations that altruistically promote development and coexistence.
These associations and particularly that of Aunt Dori have lowered the ratio of school absenteeism in the area over the last few years.
And a good point of these associations is to channel the major concerns of the neighbors, in particular the neighborhood association of Lo Campano points out that they have sewer problems, a high level of unemployment, trees that are not pruned, raised sidewalks, limited lighting, among other concerns.
VOX wants to support a plan of leisure and sport segmented in levels, both children, youth and adults.
And especially in this neighborhood that will help in encouraging young people not to fall into social exclusion and drug addiction.
For this same reason, the VOX program has a long-term development plan of 10 to 15 years to eliminate pockets of marginality with churches and associations.
Promote the social responsibility of these organizations and in turn promote healthy habits and prevention programs.
These are a good example of how much they contribute to society in an underground way and often little praised by public entities.
VOX will create good communication with these organizations to participate and be key elements in the development of their neighborhood.
Carry out a citizen participation plan that can easily be summarized in the phrase provided in the meeting: "A tree planted by a neighbor in his own street, is a careful tree."
