The liberal party announces the creation of the Unique Citizen Card, a true municipal single window, and a new system to improve the payment to suppliers
The candidate of Citizens (Cs) to the Mayorship of Cartagena, Manuel Padín, assures that "to promote a true agile and efficient electronic Administration will be a priority for the liberal formation as of May 26".
"We will eliminate unnecessary duplication and repetitive procedures so that all authorizations and licenses for work, opening or installation of activity are expedited and our entrepreneurs, our businesses, can start as soon as possible."
Among the measures is the substitution of the presentation of certain documents by responsible statements and communications prior to the start of an activity in those procedures where it is viable.
On the other hand, and thanks to the autonomic objectives, Citizens will implement a true municipal single window, "the Cartagena will not have to make any unnecessary movement to complete some administrative procedure, because they will not be asked for any document that is in the hands of any Public Administration "
We also assume the challenge of a "complete digitalization of all the historical archives belonging to the City Council".
Unique Citizen Card and payment to suppliers
Manuel Padín has announced that he will also launch a Unique Citizen Card "so that our neighbors can enjoy the services, activities and facilities in a more comfortable, efficient and simple way".
Padín recalls that "cities like Gijón have implemented it successfully" and has specified that this card will be used to unify public transport, the use of sports facilities, summer pools, parking, payment in ORA car parks, libraries in the same document municipal or study rooms;
"It will also allow us to carry out bureaucratic procedures with the City Council through automatic citizen service points that we will install in the Omitas in a progressive manner".
"The citizen, with this card, becomes one of the axes of the smart city model we want for Cartagena," says Padín.
Finally, Citizens is finalizing the implementation of a system for strict compliance with the deadlines that must be met to resolve the payment to all City Council providers.
For this, a system will be established by which service providers will know exactly when they will collect all outstanding invoices.
"If companies and the self-employed must comply with the conditions agreed upon in the provision of their services, the City must also comply with them and not become a problem because they can not assume their obligations at the time," said Manuel
