This Friday, May 17, activities continue in the invited neighborhoods that seek to make visible the face of the other, the welcome and the invisible, combining art and hospitality within the programming of the Mucho Más Mayo festival, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena .
Throughout the day at the CEIP Stella Maris in the Virgen de La Caridad neighborhood, the ACCEM association will carry out an intense collective work with two collaborative proposals, with the artistic direction of La Compañía de Mario.
The first of them is 'Letters that welcome', a participatory workshop and mural painting developed with students from the school and neighbors, with the aim of finding and expressing a motto chosen collectively on the walls of the center.
The second one, also artistic, will be a mural painting, 'Abrazo Partido'.
At 10: 00 a hiking route begins for the Atalaya and Villalba with garbage collection, which with the name of 'Trashchallenge' starts in the Health Center Cartagena West of the District of La Concepción.
This initiative is coordinated by Fundación CEPAIM and Proyecto Abraham and all residents and interested public are invited to participate.
Also in the neighborhood and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the Lago Tortuga Garden, there will be a 'Garbage Border', a participatory artistic installation, supervised by Fundación CEPAIM and Proyecto Abraham.
On the Paseo del Muelle, in front of the Local Social of the Santa Lucía neighborhood, at 6:00 pm will begin the meeting of music, percussion, poetry, and hip hop 'Humanize through the senses'.
There will be groups of capoeira, flamenco singing and guitar, a sample of poems from the three recitals performed in the neighborhood, and the performance of Jota Ramos presenting his Hip-Hop del Pueblo.
