The program 'Entrepreneurs 360', an initiative of the Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena, has culminated its first year of operation with a number "really positive", as reflected by the 33 participating projects, the 15 workshops and the 137 hours of consulting carried out.
Some figures that, for the president of COEC, Pedro Pablo Hernández, suppose the reflection that "the innovative impulse to the enterprising fabric that was looked for with this initiative has paid off".
"We wanted to cover all the steps of business idea, creation and consolidation - hence the name of 360, in terms of trying to close the circle of entrepreneurship," he said.
For this, a pioneering program was launched that wanted to "tackle entrepreneurship from a global point of view" and supported "transversally by a network of investors that can feed the main generated 'startups'."
That is why the circle begins with the Lanzadera program, designed to make the leap towards the creation of innovative companies, to continue with the program Consolidation scale of those companies with less than 5 years of life, and finish with the acquisition of financing by 'angels business', through a Network of Private Investors of the Region of Cartagena.
Precisely, Hernandez advanced that this Network will be constituted throughout this month, with ten investors of the Region of Cartagena.
As a preliminary action, four sessions of disclosure of the culture of investment in 'startups' have already been carried out, where specialized consultants in 'venture capital' have taught concepts related to the investment process.
In these four workshops, 34 entrepreneurs and 41 companies participated.
DELIVERY OF DIPLOMAS
The president of COEC, together with the director of INFO, Joaquín Gómez, presented the diplomas to the participants in the program Entrepreneurs 360.
Specifically, in the Lanzadera program, 24 projects have been developed, 12 'business plans' have been developed, and 4 new companies were created with 12 created jobs, with 89,000 euros of initial investment.
There were 7 workshops, 28 hours of training and 72 hours of consulting.
On the other hand, the Escalado program counted with the participation of 9 innovative startups with less than 5 years of life, to which the corresponding Consolidation Plan was drawn up.
There were also 4 workshops and 65 hours of consulting in aspects such as marketing, global strategy, economic-financial management, digital marketing and innovation.
Entrepreneurs 360 is a program of innovative impulse to the entrepreneurial fabric of the Region of Murcia organized by COEC, financed by the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia, and coordinated by the European Center for Business and Innovation of Cartagena (CEEIC).
