On May 22 is celebrated Santa Rita, the employer of the workers of the City of Cartagena.
On the occasion of this date, various activities have been organized for local officials.
Among them, there will be a poetry recital on Thursday, May 16 at the Athenas Club Room, located on Calle Cuatro Santos, at 7:30 p.m.
In this act, public employees will read lyrical fragments.
Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
The poetry recital will not be the only activity scheduled for the Santa Rita festivity.
On Saturday, May 18 at 10 am on Isla Plana, a trekking route will be carried out at 10 am at the Neighborhood Association of this Cartagena deputation.
After the tour, there will be a meal in Isla Plana.
On Tuesday 21, from 5:00 pm, there will be a visit to the Roman Amphitheater.
On Wednesday, May 22, the day of Santa Rita, the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will hand out the usual plaques of recognition for the years of service rendered to the fifty or so municipal retired workers in the last twelve months.
The event will be held at 12:30 in the ceremonial room of the Palace Hall.
This year a biker route is also organized for Friday, May 24 from 9:30 am in the Ă‘am Ă‘am of the Eroski Shopping Center, and ending in La Manga and Cabo de Palos.
During the day, participants can participate in raffles.
The day of rest for Santa Rita will be Friday, May 24, when they will close the municipal offices.
