The results of the voting of the Participatory Budgets 2019 in educational centers are already known.
Throughout the past week, between May 6 and 8, the votings were registered in the 11 educational centers (seven of infant education and four institutes) that participate in this initiative, promoted as pilot experience by the Department of Participation Citizen of the City of Cartagena.
About six thousand students and students were called to give their opinion on what actions to improve in their centers for which the City has allocated 11,000 thousand euros, 10,000 for each of them.
The results by center have been the following:
IES MEDITERRANEAN
- Total number of students registered: 1,312
- Total number of students who have voted: 817, since the students of the 2nd FP groups (7 groups) could not do it because they were in their internship period in companies.
- Results of the vote:
1.- Fans for 10 classrooms (4,500 euros): 544 votes
2.- Internal and external public address system (5,500 euros): 541 votes.
3.- Wall clocks for all classrooms (400 euros): 306 votes.
4.- Concrete outdoor benches (2) (1,600 euros): 271 votes
5.- Tablets (25) (5750 euros): 224 votes.
6.- Air conditioning for the library (1,512 euros): 157 votes.
7.- Antivandálica ping pong table (1,270 euros): 135 votes.
The winning proposals that can be made will be the first two fans for 10 classrooms (4,500 euros) and the internal and external public address system (5,500 euros).
IES EL BOHÃO
Of the six proposals, each student had to vote three of them, granting them gold, silver and bronze.
Gold would add 3 points, silver 2 points and bronze 1.
The total number of votes has been 684, of which 617 have been valid, 65 have been invalid votes and 2 have been blank.
Based on this, the points obtained for each proposal have been:
1.- Outdoor furniture (benches, picnic tables for recreation areas) 1,073 points
2.- Two Backpacks 8 Ipads, 835 points
3.- Two goals with baskets for the outer court, 553 points
4.- Portable scenario, 416 points
5.- Outdoor furniture (fixed ping-pong tables), 401 points
6.- Sports equipment (mobile and folding ping-pong tables), 390 points
The winning proposals that can be made will be the three most voted: outdoor furniture (benches, picnic tables for recreational areas);
two backpacks eight Ipads and dps goals with baskets for the outer court.
IES SAN ISIDORO DE LOS DOLORES
The total number of participants has been 588, of which 588 have cast the vote correctly.
The result, the following:
1. Placement of fans in the classrooms facing south, 464 votes.
2. Improvement of computer and audiovisual media, 395 votes.
3. Acquisition of benches and ping-pong tables for the patio and gardens, 305 votes.
4. Installation of air conditioning console in the assembly hall, 190 votes.
5. Purchase of a 3d printer, 177 votes.
6. Purchase of tools for the school garden and the greenhouse, 138 votes.
7. Acquisition of phantom microphones, 90 votes.
8. Acquisition of metal recycling bins, 63 votes.
The winning proposals that can be made are placement of fans in the classrooms facing south;
improvement of computer and audiovisual media;
acquisition of banks and ping pong tables for the patio and gardens;
placement of air conditioning console in the auditorium and purchase of a printer.
IES GALILEO DE POZO NARROW
The number of participants was 249. The votes cast: 249, of which 2 were blank and 3 were null.
The most voted proposals were:
1.- Benches and tables of concrete type picnic for the patio: 219 votes
2.- Approved chairs, fire retardant curtain and lectern for the auditorium: 163 votes
3.- Sports equipment for physical education: approved ping-pong folding tables: 123 votes
4.- Computer and audiovisual material: computers, portable speaker, wireless connection speaker, radio microphones and mixer for school radio: 177 votes
5.- Modular panels for exhibitions: 19 votes
6.- Wooden counter for administration: 31 votes
The winning proposals that can be made are benches and concrete picnic tables for the patio;
approved chairs, fire retardant curtain and lectern for the auditorium;
sports equipment for physical education: approved ping-pong folding tables;
computer and audiovisual material: computers, portable speaker, wireless connection speaker, radio microphones and mixer for school radio.
CEIP JOSE MARÃA LAPUERTA
The total number of voters is 711, of which they have voted 650. Three invalid and one blank votes have been collected.
The result of the votes has been:
1.- Shade for the patio 2nd section: 472 votes
2.- New public address system: 221 votes
3.- Mirrors in the bathrooms: 177 votes
4.- Air conditioning for auditorium and computer room: 412 votes
5.- Fence for the playground for 3 years: 218 votes
6.- Computers and tablets for the classes: 408
The winning proposals that can be made are shade for the 2nd section patio;
air conditioning for auditorium and computer room;
computers and tablets for the classes and new public address system.
CEIP VICENTE MEDINA
The total number of voters is 147, of those who have voted 137.
The result of the voting has been as follows:
1.- Children's house: 94 votes
2.- Four virtual glasses: 59 votes
3.- 300 chairs for the outdoor stage: 39 votes
4.- Five new computers: 38 votes
5.- Furniture for the library (4 tables + 8 chairs): 28 votes
6.- Primary games (table football, air hockey and 5 targets): 28 votes
7.- 20 tablets for 5th and 6th + 20 cases: 26 votes
8.- Digital board for music: 25 votes
9.- Musical instruments: 19 votes
10.- Armarito para infantil: 16 votes
11.- Picnic tables: 16 votes
12.- Projectors: 15 votes
13.- Robots: 8 votes
The winning proposals that can be made are casita Infantile education;
4 virtual glasses;
300 chairs for the outdoor stage;
five new computers;
library furniture;
games in primary (table football, air hockey and 5 targets) and 20 tablets for 5th and 6th + 20 cases.
CEIP SAN GINÉS DE LA JARA
The total number of voters is 234, of those who have voted 210.
The result of the voting has been as follows:
Early Childhood Education:
1.- Casita Duende, ladybird seesaw and trampoline 16 votes
2.- Casita Duende, whale swing and trampoline 43 votes
Primary education:
1.- Picnic table: 52 votes
2.- Outdoor ping-pong table: 100 votes
3.- Resource room / Multipurpose room: 70 votes
4.- Computers and tablets: 77 votes
The economic endowment of the participatory budgets will be allocated in this case to the troll house (El Llano section), two trampolines (one per section) and whale swing (El Estrecho section), in children's education;
and the purchase of two outdoor ping-pong tables (the Llano section and the El Estrecho section) and the provision of computer resources for both sections in primary education.
CEIP MIGUEL DE CERVANTES
The total number of voters is 260, of those who have voted 252.
The proposals that have been voted have been:
1.- 25 tablets or laptops: 164 votes
2.- 4 basketball rim boards: 48 votes
3.- 1 articulated skeleton: 39 votes
4.- 2 microscopes: 104 votes
5.- Playground games for children: 46 votes
6.- Public address system for the school: 93 votes
7.- Wireless microphones: 59 votes
8.- Clocks for the classrooms: 35 votes
The economic endowment will be used in this case to the acquisition of destined to the acquisition of 25 tablets or laptops;
two microscopes: public address system for the school;
wireless microphones and playground games for children.
CEIP SAN FULGENCIO DE POZO STRAIT
The total number of voters is 490, of those who have voted 490. The proposals have been divided between Infantile and Primary.
In Infant Education 130 children have voted and in Primary 360 have voted.

1.- Slide: 83 votes
1.- Spring rocker: 47 votes
In Primary Education:
1.- Public Address: 199 votes
2.- Library furniture: 41 votes
3.- Outdoor tables with games: 97 votes
4.- Air conditioning: 23 votes
In this way, the public address acquisition will be carried out;
outdoor tables with games;
library furniture;
and slide for Early Childhood Education.
CEIP VIRGEN DEL CARMEN
In total, 670 students have voted.
Of the 670 votes cast, 525 have been valid, 143 null and 2 blank.
The proposals that have been voted have been:
For Early Childhood Education:

2.- Tablets: 133 votes
3.- For Primary Education:
4.- A climbing wall: 131 votes

CEIP SANTA FLORENTINA DE LA PALMA
Of the total of the census 521 students, they voted 484. Of these 376 votes were valid, 7 votes are blank and one null.
The results of the voting were the following:
For Primary Education:
1.- PATIO (picnic and ping-pong tables): 184 votes
2.- LIBRARY (chairs, tables, shelves and games): 27 votes
3.- PLUMIER (new computers, speakers, keyboards, mice and monitors): 165 votes
For Early Childhood Education:
1.- Motorcycles and bicycles: 108 votes
2.- Baskets for the patio: 37 votes
In this way the allocation of participatory budgets will go to picnic tables and ping-pong in the yard;
the acquisition of new computers, speakers, keyboards, mice and monitors;
and of bikes and bicycles for Infant Education.
