952 participants toured the Five Hills surrounding the historic center of Cartagena in the III Arx Asdrúbalis, divided between the three different modes of walking, hiking and night races for children and seniors.
Organized by the Federation of Troops and Legions of Carthaginians and Romans in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, the first of the three tests that make up this already consolidated event began at 10 o'clock in the morning with the Senderista March, in which a total of 180 people who traveled 10 kilometers with the most emblematic places of the city.
The Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora, was in charge of kicking off the march and accompany the walkers part of the route.
During the afternoon, after 20 hours, the test was held for the youngest children with a shorter route of 2 km, with 40 boys and girls, which gave way to the last and most important of the modalities.
The Night Race, which consisted of the same route as the walk senderista, managed to surpass the record of participation of the past editions.
There were 722 runners who left from Plaza San Francisco at 9:15 p.m. and surrounded the center of the city by the San José hill, the Molinete, Monte Sacro, Castillo de la Concepción and Despeñaperros, resulting in winners Zacarías Rqiq with a time of 23:21 and Alba Cánovas with 29:37, being in second place the champion in two occasions of the Route of the Strengths, José Antonio Agüera.
