"According to the statistics produced from the more than 1,600 articles in six newspapers (La Razón, El País, El Mundo, La Vanguardia, eldiario.es and 20 Minutos) analyzed in 2017, more than 60% of them are Islamophobes. It is important to point out that this is the first time that the existence of Islamophobia in the media has been confirmed through a long-term systematic and scientific analysis, confirming this fact will allow us to cross the threshold of the first debate on the very existence of Islamophobia in the Spanish press and thus invest the efforts to achieve a more inclusive coverage, accurate and in accordance with professional ethics on Muslim citizenship "
