Firemen of the Service of Fire Extinguishing, Salvage and Civil Protection (SEIS) of the City council of Cartagena intervened in the morning of Sunday Sunday in a fire in an agricultural ship in Lesser Islands where there were animals and abundant straw stored.
The incident was recorded at 11.45 am in the vicinity of the road between Los Belones and Islas Menor.
A dozen lambs were poisoned by smoke, although firefighters were able to rescue about thirty of them.
The work of extinction of the straw stored lasted more than 10 hours and made necessary several relays among the intervening personnel.
