The Department of Economic Strategy, Health and Animal Welfare of the City of Cartagena, directed by Carmen Martín del Amor, has edited a video about the Water Trail of Perin PR-MU 115 where we can find such curious constructions as the Perín community well or the access log to the water gallery.
The aim of the video is to show the Perín water catchment system and how the city of Cartagena was supplied before the arrival of Taibilla water, in the middle of the 20th century.
This audiovisual piece, which shows how the underground water has been used historically, through wells and galleries, and in open courses, by means of dykes and pipes, aims to highlight the extraordinary natural, ethnographic and cultural heritage of the area, located in the western zone of Cartagena, which without a doubt is worth discovering.
