The renovation works of the asphalting in the Alameda de San Antón will again provoke traffic cuts by sections starting on Monday, May 13, which will try to be carried out in such a way as to generate the least possible inconvenience to the drivers, as sources have reported. of the Department of Infrastructure.
Thus, on Monday, the interruption of the passage of vehicles will affect the section that goes from the Plaza del Escudo (which will be open to traffic at all times) to Trafalgar Street, whose crossing will close at midday.
For Tuesday 14 will open the aforementioned section, including the crossing of Trafalgar, and the cut will occur in which it goes from Trafalgar to the Plaza de España, with a duration of at least two days, since the works are focused on a larger surface.
It is expected that between Thursday and Friday the works will finish, depending on the rhythm of the same, and, therefore, the entire Alameda is open to traffic.
Remember that this asphalting renovation action consists of the leveling of the new asphalt conglomerate with sewer lids, scuppers and sidewalks, as well as minor alterations.
Traffic and city buses will be diverted by alternate itineraries.
