Cartagena Port of Cultures is still committed to special activities where the public is the protagonist of history.
On this occasion and under the program of the exhibition of Isabel the Catholic two medieval dinners will be held where everything that happens those nights will become a unique experience.
On Friday, July 12, when it falls at nightfall, the torches will light up and illuminate the Castillo de la Concepción, where a dozen actors await us to participate in a moment of history as if we were backing 600 years and returning to the end of the Age. Half.
A very special way of knowing an episode that begins the Renaissance, where Cartagena and its port rejoin the crown of Castile.
For such a celebration, the Catholic Monarchs, Isabel and Fernando, accompanied by their court along with Jews and Muslims, will unveil real events that took place in the city's port, which were decisive in the history of Spain.
During the whole evening we can taste a showcooking: live cooking, where the presentation and preparation has been specially cared for so that all the senses make us travel in time.
Only for 60 people, with a medieval aesthetic, seated and with wooden tables, from where you can see the sea and the magnificent illuminated tower, you will savor different seasons where there will be: Artisan breads with potatoes from the Indies, cod from our coasts , sausages from the land and a wide variety of cheeses with fruits.
Tables of hummus from different places of the Mediterranean and as main courses grilled with ribs, pork leg and varied brochettes.
We will finish with delicious desserts that will be accompanied, as in the Middle Ages of a good wine or refreshing beer.
The thematic dinners are consolidated, obtaining a high satisfaction for all the attending public, since the previous medieval dinners, Romans and gladiators have been a success of response and valuation.
We will have another medieval date on September 6, where it is accessed by the Panoramic Lift at 9:30 p.m. and has a price of 55 euros.
On the other hand, Puerto de Culturas appreciates the magnificent response that the public has had about the Christmas Fort Concert where in just one week they have sold 80% of the tickets for both concerts on June 14 of Ariel Rot and June 28, Mikel Erentxun.
