The women's table tennis team of UCAM Cartagena after winning on French soil a very important victory by 1-3, in the first leg of the final of the ETTU CUP (European Cup), against the French team of Lyssois CP Lille Metropole, have been received and entertained this morning at the Palace of Cartagena.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has received and congratulated the four players;
the coach, Jesús Cantero;
to the director of Sports, Pablo Rosique, and to the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, for this recent victory and for his double of League champions and of the Queen's Cup.
The captain of the team has invited the Cartagena to attend the second leg, which will take place this Saturday, May 11, at 6:00 pm, in the Cuatro Santos Municipal Pavilion of Table Tennis in Cartagena and where they could get their third title this season, the European.
The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, thanked the municipal support in the sports field and has pointed out the achievements that are being achieved by making the University and the city of Cartagena leaders.
