A few days ago, thanks to the talk organized by Cartagena Futuro and imparted by the Constitutional Law Doctor and professor at the University of Murcia, Mr. Francisco Manuel García Costa, we went deeper into the project to reform the Statute of Autonomy.
With its usual didactic tone, passionate (in the legal) and close, degranó the bases of the state of the autonomies, the legislative duplicity, the inequality between Spaniards and the non-sovereignty of these territories, as well as the context in which these statutes arise second generation '.
In particular, the first one that takes place after the events that occurred in Catalonia in 2017, which we could call, not without sadness, the first Murcian Constitution.
The calm review of the professor confirmed us that it is a dark text, which 20 days after its approval has not been published and is pending correction.
Upon hearing this we all came to an intense smell of stale cologne (as Varon Dandy).
And the 'celebrated' consensus was transfigured in improvisation by the need to transcend subjects that we now know will not be and were not.
Comofallido we must call this Statute, if it does not change in its hibernation, after knowing that its applauded 'rights' are simple objectives;
that his referendum could not be held today;
who forgets the obligatory progressivity in taxes;
or that, and here is one of the keys, condemns us to continue depending on San Esteban and remain Murcia.
It is true that courage was not expected from these incubator politicians, but from there to refuse to listen to the City of Cartagena and the conclusions of the table on the restitution of the Province and impose a regional model (still) more centralist there is a step, and they have given it in one stride.

Thus, all the inhabitants of the Region continue being Murcia of civil neighborhood and since April 1 the Regional Assembly is Murcia, we have regional identity and even Murcia's sovereignty.
