Natalia Ruedas Díaz, black belt of Taekwondo and student of the School of Industrial Engineering of the UPCT, has achieved this weekend in Castellón, in the Spanish University Championship 2019 Taekwondo, organized by the Jaime I University and the Superior Council of Sports, the first place and the Gold medal in the category of -53 Kg.
Natalia, who lives and trains at the Narejos Sports Technification Center "Infanta Cristina", belongs to the permanent Taekwondo selection and develops all her sports preparation in this center throughout the year, leaving only to attend the official competitions of the Spanish Federation of Taekwondo and its studies in industrial engineering.
This is the second gold in Taekwondo achieved by the UPCT, after the one obtained by Joel González Bonilla in the London 2012 Olympic Games. Who knows if Natalia will be able to take the name of the UPCT to other Olympic games.
Tokyo 2020 is near.
