In view of the recent announcement made by the outdated and amortized socialist government of Caostejón about the installation of artificial turf on the soccer fields of El Bohío and Molinos Marfagones, the councilor and head of Sports at MC Cartagena, Ricardo Segado, lamented the use election that the PSOE makes in these neighborhoods.
"The artificial turf was very necessary for both clubs," said the mayor, "but comes very late and is interested, since it occurs a few days before the start of the election campaign."
He also assured that, with this measure, "Castejón once again demonstrates his little respect for the sport of Cartagena."
It should be remembered that with the departure of MC from the Government and the assumption of socialist responsibilities in sporting matters "almost the Sports Gala is loaded, the facilities are in an unfortunate state and what little they have done has been thanks to the projects that we leave in march ", has remarked Segado.
Castejón tries to buy votes with some fields that should be made

"MC filed a motion, approved by the majority of the House, to provide lawn to El Bohio with the municipal budget of 2018, as there was money in the Department of Sports to do it," stressed the councilman Cartagena.
"They did not comply and they preferred to put grass in another field that already had it, that's their order of priorities."
In the same way, Castejón is forgetting facilities such as the World Cup 82 in the neighborhood of San Ginés, Los Belones or Villalba.
"She does not know reality because she is more worried about keeping her chair and her salary already lost."
Finally, Ricardo Segado stressed that "we do not know how we are going to find the City Council after the elections, because they hide everything, but we believe that it will be a bankrupt City Hall and MC Cartagena will have to reverse this situation again and finish what we started, ending with third world facilities, our children and the rest of users do not deserve those conditions. "
Motion approved in 2018 at the proposal of MC for the installation of lawn in El Bohío
During the ordinary plenary session of June 2018, Segado presented a motion to urge the Department of Sports to promote and develop the project for the installation of artificial turf for the San Cristóbal El Bohío neighborhood soccer field, with a fee to the municipal Budget of that year.
The proposal, approved with the favorable votes of PSOE and C's and the abstention of PP and CTSSP, was based on the fact that this field is currently surrounded by sports facilities with grass, which means a situation of isolation due to the number of children and young people from the neighborhood who leave to other teams.
The Government of MC managed, before being ceased, to leave finished and under construction or tender, five fields of artificial turf in: Barriada Virgen de la Caridad, Jose Maria Lapuerta Barrio Peral, La Aljorra, Albujón and La Palma.
